Established in Japan in 1920, Rinnai opened a U.S. corporation in 1974 in Los Angeles. It moved to Georgia in 1987. Its first tankless water heater sold in 1999.
Rinnai customers can choose a gas or a propane tankless water heater; all models support both energy supplies.
Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters
Rinnai offers both high efficiency (HE) and super high-efficiency (SE) models of its gas or propane tankless water heater. It also has two hybrid tankless water heater models.
All models of the HE and SE tankless water heaters allow for simultaneous shower use. Other features, not available on every model, include hot water recirculation technology, Wi-Fi ready home automation support, and quick-access isolation valves.
Energy efficient ratings range from 0.79-0.93 for HE and SE models and up to 97% for hybrid models.
