Called about making sure I had enough to get through the storm and they told me I was at 56% of 100 gallons. Since I've only every used 85 gallons in an entire year, I was shocked. I asked the lady on the phone if it was possible when they installed the new monitor they created a leak and she said I now have to pay $150 for them to come verify there is no leak since it's a recorded line. I'm seriously considering switching companies depending on how this turns out. It's ridiculous that asking a question costs me money. WHAT A RACQUET, might report to BBB and FTC if they follow through and charge me.
Update: Just had the most thorough and common sense explanation from the district customer care manager. I can't say enough wonderful things about her and how she reassured me no bogus visit would occur. I was only looking for peace of mind and understanding and I had to wait a bit but it was well worth it. Changing to 5 stars. I'll only call her from now on. Hopefully she's still here in 5 years when I make my next call. Customer service as it should be... gold standard. Thanks again.

Shane from the Georgtown area assisted the Dover team as they were maxed out. Shane came up from Georgrtown to answer my concern about smelling gas. It has happened several times . Up till now no one had found a problem after several reports. They had made valiant attempts but nothing could be found as a cause. Troy came to my house to fill up my propane a couple of days ago. Usually when the tanks are filled a notice and bill are left on my front door knob but this time Troy knocked on the door and let me know he had filled the tank then asked if I needed help with restarting my fireplace. I said I did and he came in restarted the pilot and made sure the fireplace was working properly. He couldn’t have been nicer. I live in a small town where everyone used to say hi and help each other when needed but times have changed . Troy reminded me that there are still nice people around he didn’t need to do what he did he could have just left the ticket on the door like everyone else had in the past.

We had Sharp Energy come to our home because we had no hot water. Jason Widgeon, the service manager sent his service department out the same day. It was determined the hot water heater was shot and we needed a new one. We received a quote from Sharp the same day and today they installed our new Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. We want to send a big shout out to Gerald Timmons, Skylar Voyles, Phil Dubois, and Mike Newsome that handled every aspect of the install. They were hard workers, outgoing, friendly, and made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up before they left. Gerald even checked to make sure we could get our fireplace pilot back on. I thought they were really good representatives for Sharp Energy. One of the techs helped me bandage my wife’s finger after she cut it while cooking. :). As a customer of a local fuel provider, we could only be on (will call). Unfortunately, ran out of fuel (that’s on me) but when I called for a fill, I was told that the soonest I would get fuel is 8 days out (unless) I was willing to pay a fee of $400 aside of the price of fuel, then they would fill the tank within 24 hours.

On December 23, avery cold winter day with only two days left before Christmas we ran out of propane. No fireplace to enjoy, but more importantly, no stove for food prep. Within less than one hour Barry Williams delivered the propane! However, above and beyond that he checked to ensure each of our stove burners were working, and then relit the pilot light on our fireplace. We were most impressed with his knowledge and customer service.

We decided to get a new log set up for the propain fireplace. We ordered it they came and installed it. the guys that came to install the new set up explained exactly what we need to do from start to finish. This company is definitely the best around. We continue to use them and have them come once a year to fill my propain tank and clean my fireplace and pressure test my lines for leaks.

I’ve dealt with Sharp while living in VA, MD, and now VA again, spanning over 20 years. Recently, I had Sharp install a propane tank, run a line to my new gas stove, and install a quick disconnect on the back of the house for my propane grill. The technicians were polite, fast, and very knowledgeable. They were extremely professional, and cleaned their mess such that you would never know they had been here if not for the propane tank tucked neatly against the side of the house. I’m a very inquisitive person and they politely answered all 500 of my questions. Chris Rantz was the rep I dealt with and I couldn’t be happier with the experience or the technicians they sent.
